We are not asking individuals to donate a large amount instead we are looking for donations of just €1 This way we all can be part of helping.
The Irish Diaspora runs into millions, and if we all donate a tiny amount it should count up to a large sum that would help these people immensley.
Donations are made securely through Paypal.

The majority of us have Irish family and heritage. And many of us have elderly relatives who might have fallen through the cracks of society and are living in poverty. As Sam has said, we need to get more people involved here. Tell your friends, family - members, come on board with us. Even if you don't pledge any money, your support is important. Life is a precious gift and those who have worked so hard all their lives and who end up at the bottom of the economic barrel, deserve a chance to live in dignity with whatever time they have left. Have you forgotten someone?

Hey all, why don't we get this campaign moving. There are six in the group at the moment. Each of us sign up 10 friends to the cause with instructions for each of those to sign 10 more each. Pretty soon this will grow!

Excellent interview, John. It really brings home what's happened to our cousins, friends and others who are now elderly and in a bad state. If there is a way for any of us to help bring these folks home to Ireland to live out their days in dignity, then we should try and God love the charities and agencies trying to assist them.

Thanks for that lmc737.Every Euro counts.
Great story about your Grandad's brother.
In some of the rental properties in England they put up signs "No Blacks, No Dogs, No Irish need Apply" thankfully thats all changed now.

Donated $3.04 (Two Euros) for Karin and me. My Grandparents moved to Liverpool much earlier to look for work. While going around the factories My grandfather and his brother came across a sign reading "No Irish Need Apply" Grandad's brother took out some chalk and wrote under the sign: "Whoever wrote this wrote it well for the same thing's written on the gates of Hell!" Yep... The McKenna's had arrived.

Hey everybody! About lookjohn's Forgotten Irish campaign.
what will one $ or a € do to your lifestyle? Think of those that it would mean a lot to and how one of anything when given by many makes millions.
Even if you cannot give tell 10 friends about it!

John, we might not be able to help financially, but is there some other way we can help?
