Hackett graciously acknowledged that the rugged landscape of Connemara contributed greatly to the uniqueness of the design. His deft ability to enhance what nature presented him with results in a dramatic championship course, ready made to tempt those who savour beauty - and a beast!

The club's magnificent new clubhouse, stone-faced using local Connemara stone, overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and offers 360-degree views of the beautiful course and the unique Connemara landscape.
